The short version
Every calculator on this site — AI cost calculators and the finance calculators under /finance/ alike — runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you type into a calculator (your salary, your state, your filing status, any number) is sent to us or stored anywhere. We use Google Analytics to see aggregate traffic (which pages get visited, roughly how many people, from where) and Google AdSense to show ads, both of which set cookies. That's the extent of it: no accounts, no email collection, no selling of personal data.
What we collect
Site analytics (Google Analytics 4). We use GA4 to understand which pages are visited and how the site is used in aggregate. This involves cookies and collection of standard analytics data such as approximate location (city/region level, derived from IP), device and browser type, referring site, and pages viewed. We do not use this data to identify you individually.
Advertising (Google AdSense). We show ads via Google AdSense, which may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
Calculator inputs. Not collected. Every calculation (AI cost, paycheck, tax) runs as JavaScript in your browser. Nothing you enter into any input field is transmitted to our servers, because our servers never see it — there is no backend for these tools.
What we don't collect
We don't require or offer account creation, we don't ask for your email to use any calculator, and we don't have a newsletter or lead-gen form anywhere on the site. There is no server-side database of user activity beyond what Google Analytics aggregates.
Cookies and your choices
You can opt out of personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings or via the AboutAds.info opt-out page. You can also disable cookies entirely in your browser settings, though this may affect site functionality. Google Analytics offers a browser opt-out add-on if you'd prefer analytics not run at all.
Children's privacy
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your rights (California / EU visitors)
If you're a California resident, the CCPA gives you the right to know what personal information is collected about you and to opt out of its sale — we don't sell personal information. If you're in the EU/UK, GDPR gives you rights to access, correct, or delete data held about you; since we don't hold personally identifying data about individual visitors beyond what Google's aggregated analytics retains, requests are best directed to Google directly for their analytics/ads data, or to us at the contact below for anything specific to this site.
Changes to this policy
If what we track changes (for example, if we ever add a feature that does send data to a server), this page will be updated and the "last updated" date above will change.
