What this site is
aicreditcost.com started as a set of calculators for AI subscription, API, and generation pricing — a place to see what ChatGPT, Claude, Runway, ElevenLabs, and dozens of other AI platforms actually cost, using the same pricing tables across every tool instead of marketing-page estimates.
The site has since expanded to include a Finance section covering everyday US personal-finance calculators — starting with paycheck / take-home-pay calculators by state — built with the same approach: show the real formula, cite the source, and let the tool run entirely in your browser.
How we source and verify numbers
AI pricing figures are checked against each provider's official pricing page. Tax and finance figures are checked against primary sources: the IRS, the Social Security Administration, and individual state departments of revenue, supplemented by the Tax Foundation where a state's own site doesn't publish a clean machine-readable table.
Tax law changes every year, and sometimes mid-year. Every finance calculator page shows a "figures last verified" note and a visible methodology section listing the exact rates used, so you can judge for yourself whether they're current — rather than asking you to trust a black-box number.
Where a specific figure (a state's standard deduction, for example) couldn't be independently confirmed at time of writing, the calculator says so directly on the page instead of guessing.
What this site is not
Nothing here is financial, tax, or legal advice. These are educational estimation tools. Every finance calculator carries a visible disclaimer, and for anything that affects a real filing or a real loan decision, talk to a licensed CPA, tax preparer, or financial advisor who can see your full situation.
How the site is funded
aicreditcost.com is free to use, with no signup and no email wall. It's supported by display advertising (Google AdSense). We don't sell the data you enter into a calculator, because we don't collect it — every calculation runs client-side in your browser.
